Puff pastry

Ingredients for 1 person:
• 3 slices PanPiuma wholemeal
• seasonal red berries
• 80 g sugar
• 2 egg yolks
• 400 g milk
• 60 g cornflour
• lemon peel


Recipe preparation:
Prepare the cream: whip the eggs and cornflour with the sugar and the lemon peel. In
a saucepan, bring to the boil the milk and pour it into the other ingredients. Continue
to stir with a whisk over a low heat until the cream thickens. Roll out the bread with a
rolling pin to make it thin, put sugar over the top to caramelise and place in the oven at
180° for 6/7 minutes. Once the layers have been removed from the oven make them into
rectangles. Garnish one level on top of the other, first with the cream and then the red
berries. Serve with a sprinkling of icing sugar.
