⢠400 g milk
⢠60 g cornstarch

Preparation
Prepare the cream: whisk the eggs and cornstarch with the sugar and lemon peel. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil and pour in the other ingredients. Continue
whisking over low heat until the cream thickens.
Roll out the bread with a rolling pin until it becomes puff pastry, sprinkle sugar on top to caramelize it, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 6-7 minutes. Once the
puff pastry sheets are removed from the oven, shape them into rectangles. Garnish with overlapping layers, first layering the
cream and then the red fruits. Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.
